Instructions
 

  • Cook the Rice: Prepare the rice according to package instructions. Set aside to keep warm.
  • Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger until well combined.
  • Sauté the Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Add Sauce: Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cooked shrimp. Stir gently to coat the shrimp evenly and cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Prepare the Vegetables: While the shrimp is cooking, steam the broccoli until tender, about 3-4 minutes. In the same pan, add the sliced bell pepper and carrots for the last minute to soften slightly.
