Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • 2 cups creamy custard
  • 1 banana sliced for garnish
  • ¼ cup walnuts for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease two 8-inch round pans. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix in bananas and sour cream.
  • Add dry ingredients to wet. Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips.
  • Divide batter between pans. Bake 30-35 minutes until done.
  • Cool completely. Layer with custard, top with banana slices and walnuts.

Notes

Refrigerate for firmer texture. Use very ripe bananas. Best consumed within 2 days.
