- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- ½ medium onion (diced)
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups beef broth
- 1 can (10.5 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 package (12 ounce) egg noodles
Heat the oil in a large pot over high heat.
Add the ground beef and onions and cook until the beef is no longer pink and you hear sizzling, around 6-7 minutes.
Reduce the heat to medium and add the garlic. Saute for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the flour and mix it in evenly.
Stir in the beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt. Bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low. Cook for 4-5 minutes until thickened.
In the meantime, cook the egg noodles according to the package directions. Serve with the ground beef sauce. Enjoy!
