Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 cups green cabbage chopped
  • 1 cup carrots julienned
  • 1 cup bell peppers sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger grated
  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare all ingredients by cleaning the shrimp, chopping vegetables, mincing garlic, and grating ginger.
  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a splash of water to create the sauce.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat and cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink, then remove.
  • In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add cabbage, carrots, and bell peppers, stir frying for 3–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Return shrimp to the pan and pour in the sauce, tossing everything together.
  • Cook for another 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Finish with sesame oil, green onions, and red pepper flakes before serving.

Notes

Use high heat to achieve the best stir fry texture and avoid soggy vegetables. Do not overcook the shrimp, as they can become rubbery very quickly. Prepare all ingredients before cooking since the process moves fast.
