Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup pitted medjool dates ~10 - 12 dates
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup unsweetened shredded coconut flakes
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • cup finely shredded coconut flakes

Instructions
 

  • Add pitted medjool dates to a food processor and process until they combine into a ball.
  • Add remaining ingredients and process until evenly combined. Feel the mixture with your fingers - it should easily stick together when pressed between 2 fingers.
  • Roll dough into ~1 tablespoon size balls and coat in extra finely shredded coconut flakes.

Notes

If this doesn’t happen, add water 1 teaspoon at a time until mixture is easy to handle and roll into balls.
