Ingredients
  

Avocado and Cheese

  • 2 Avocado
  • 10 slices Bread Rustic bread for crispiness
  • 10 slices Cheese Gourmet cheese works best
  • 0.25 cup Coriander leaves
  • 1 Green chilli Adjust to taste
  • 0.5 Lime Juice
  • Butter As needed
  • Salt To taste

Preparation

  • Run knife around the seed and twist open avocado firstly. Take out the seed.
  • Scoop the pulp and chop it roughly. Then place in a mixer/ food processor.
  • Add coriander leaves, green chilli, lime juice, little salt on top of it.
  • Blend smoothly.
  • Take bread slices. Place cheese slice over it and spread the ground avocado.
  • Furthermore, place another cheese slice on top of it.
  • Cover it with a bread slice on top.
  • Heat a cast iron pan preferably and grease with butter (1 tsp).
  • Place the avocado sandwich over it.
  • Cook in low to medium flame covered.
  • Once golden, flip and press gently for even browning. Add another teaspoon of butter.
  • Finally take out when both sides are crispy and golden.
  • Cut into two to serve. Use a serrated knife and slice gently without making the stuffing ooze out.

Notes

Use rustic bread slices if you want crispier results even after cooling down. Gourmet cheese slices work well though you can make it with regular cheese slices.
